With the recent introduction of our Ashleigh and Burwood wax beads range we thought it would be a good idea to give you a few pointers on making the perfect scent.

Balance:
Don’t make your scent too overpowering, so try using a blend of soft and strong scented beads. When you do blend beads using this method make sure you have less of the strong scented beads and more of the soft scented beads.

Flavours:
Think of the flavours you are mixing. Some scents don’t go well together. So for example it would not be advisable to mix wild berries with mint or china tea. Think about which scents would go well together. There are many ideas available on the internet.

Presentation:
The presentation of the bead mixture you are making can also be something you could consider. Bright colours will stand out and should reflect the scent. So for example if you had a lemony scent then you may expect to use yellow beads.
